Your Loss: the book is launched!

Since our official launch on 15th February Christina and I have been busy speaking at several conferences and Christina has even been on Bloomberg TV.  We were cited in the Davies Review, which made it clear that the government supports a dramatic shift in gender equality is long overdue: Lord Davies recommends that a fifth of directors in the FTSE 350 should be women by 2013, with six-monthly reviews and quotas coming back on the agenda if no progress is discernible.  Our model which we developed to work alongside the gender savvy culture suggests that an average company will be losing as much as £15 million a year for every 10,000 employees through female attrition costs.  Yesterday we had an excellent session with Crelos to celebrate International Women’s day and we have had terrific support from those who have read the book.  One email I had today said “I thought it was pitched perfectly – well researched, with pithy conclusions and positive actions that companies can take.”  My next appearance will be at the RBS women’s conference on 23rd March.
